BAM!  Our Bring A Member membership campaign is doing well.  Congratulations to the Otterbein Rotary Club for a 14 percent membership gain during this last quarter.  They will be receiving a $500 check from the District.  The Columbia City club was a close second with a 12 percent increase, followed by Crown Point with a 9 percent increase.  Several clubs were also recognized at the District Celebration for outstanding membership growth.  The Fowler club has experienced a 50 percent increase from July 1 until now.  That is outstanding!

Overall, our District is positive in membership growth, but still short of our goal of 3010 members in 2010.  Let's shoot for 100 new members before June 30th.  However, out of the 12 Districts in Zone 30, only 3 have shown a net gain, and District 6540 is well out ahead with a net gain of 82 new members!  Who will get the last $500 check for the final quarter?  I have decided to add two more prizes.  For the club with the second best Net percentage gain until June 30th, I will take the Club President and their spouse or friend, out to dinner to the best restaurant in their town.  The third best club will be treated to a PIZZA party (or Chinese) depending on their preference.  Finally we will also award a special prize to the Rotary club with over 100 members with the best net gain.  (Included are Anthony Wayne, Elkhart, Fort Wayne, Goshen, South Bend, Valparaiso and Warsaw.)  Let's all invite a guest (potential member) to our next Rotary meeting!  We can do it!
