We also participate in Rotary International's Polio Plus program, which has the goal of eradicating the disease from the face of the earth. In addition, our club has sponsored non-Rotarian young professionals so they could spend concentrated time in another part of the world learning how their profession contributes to another culture. All these efforts represent our way of placing service above self.

Finally, we also serve our own members and guests during our weekly meetings. Every Wednesday at noon we host a speaker who presents a topic of interest to the club. Sometimes information on a specific organization or activity is presented, and sometimes the topic is more geared toward the personal and/or professional growth of club members. Either way, we are enriched by the new-found knowledge and the chance for fellowship with our friends, neighbors and business associates.
